Hi guys,

I purchase iPhones quite a lot and resell them. I know people may not approve of this or whatever but I am doing nothing illegal - if I sense I have received a stolen phone I will report the person that sold it to me.

I have a query about a phone I have received today.

The phone shows full signal however it does not make/receive calls/texts.

I have a feeling the previous owner has cancelled their contract or something. I have seen blocked iPhones before, and they usually have 1 bar or no service showing. This however shows full signal.

I have a done a checkmend report on the phone and it states that the phone is currently unblocked (i.e. hopefully not reported as stolen).

I am just wondering if people have had experience of what blocked iphones are like and does my iphone sound like it is such - or is this a faulty handset that has issues that can be replaced by apple?

The iPhone is within warranty.

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks
