If that was so I would have thought price list would be up by now etc.
like I said steve said in the keynote the handset is the same price as the 3GS 16 and 32gb so by that I take it as we wont see a difference but hey soon see whats what when prices are released

i just want it with a £10 contract with unlimited internet (not wifi) and i dont care if i get texts or not, dont really text. Or Call. Or FaceTime lololololololol.

I will gladly pay £300 + this contract but noo they have to be awkward and milk us.

surely the handset price is a given since steve said the handset prices are the same as the 3GS
Just because they are staying the same for the US is no guarantee that the same will be true for the UK (or elsewhere). That said, I expect the UK prices to either be the same as the 3GS prices, or possibly up to +10% to take account of the deteriorated £:$ exchange rate.

T-Mobile have such a contract, but you'll need to pay £450+ for the handset on PAYG.

I'm going with Orange if they keep the same tariff of the 3GS.

Payg not worth it in my case.

Orange goes as low as £30 per month x18 months (£540) and handset free.

O2 has £179 on top the contract for the handset itself.
