Iphone 4 unlock advice please

Just got an IPhone 4 that already came with 4.1 OS. Any way to unlock that?
if not, is there anyway to downgrade to 4.0.1 ? (without shsh in my case since it came factory installed 4.1)

I am moving to Russia and would like to use it there with a gsm card from a local provider.
 
Are you near Canada? They sell official unlocked iphones. They also sell official unlocks in Italy, England, France and a number of other countries. Ebay is another option.
With SHSH, you can downgrade your iOS to use with a jailbreak. You can also use your SHSH to keep from upgrading your baseband.
Return your iphone, if you're within the 14 day period.
If you keep your phone, d/l Tiny Umbrella and start saving your SHSH blobs. Right now, musclenerd says an unlock probably isn't expected until after 4.2.

yah, and thats november. I think I will wait. I live in South Carolina. So no, not near Canada. If worst comes to worst, and the dev team cant crack it, I will sell it on ebay later
