Hi everyone,

I have a vodafone iPhone, which is locked to the network and I wish to use a 3 sim in the phone. I am currently running iOS 5.0.1, with baseband 04.11.08. Is there any simple method to use to unlock the iPhone. I am prepared to jailbreak etc if necessary to achieve the unlock.

Many thanks in advance!

:)

Currently, there is no software to unlock this phone. Gevey sim isn't working with 04.11 baseband you have on your phone.

Did you call vodafone to see if they can unlock it for you with a fee?

sorry man this is no software or hardware unlock for baseband 4.11.08

the software unlock that came out from redsn0w only unlocked the iphone 4 on bb 1.59.00, and the hardware unlock used by gevey is for all bb versions after 2.10,3.10,4.10.

4.11.08 has yet to be unlocked

A friend of mine in the UK had no trouble getting her Vodafone iPhone unlocked. Even if you're not also in the UK, I'm sure that your local branch of Vodafone will be just as accommodating.
