So we all have an understanding how what can now quite accurately be called a "hack" works for the 3GS/3G models. Essentially, you're upgrading your iPhone baseband to the ipads so that the old unlock exploit still works on it.

The idea is simple enough. So assumingly the upcoming unlock for the iPhone 4 will use the same exploit since clearly the 06.15.00 baseband is higher than the current unlockable 02.10.04. I'm guessing the dev team just has to work on pawnage Tools/Redsnow for the iPhone 4 for this hack to work.

Has there been any official word if this is what is in the making to unlock the iPhone 4 on bb 02.14.10?

Yeap, I assume that's what he is talking about w/ ebernet...
From Musclenerd twitter: @ebernet there are no known crashes for them...and since there are for iphone4, that's where next focus will be
