iPhone 4 Unlocked on eBay

Ok so the UK iPhone 4 are factory unlocked and they sell for about $800 on the UK apple website. But I went on eBay and saw people buying Factory unlocked 32GB iPhone 4 for $1,551.00.

Is it the same thing and why the price difference?
 
yeah, thats the same phone.

the price difference is because it's an unlocked phone. :) we here in the great U.S. of A. cannot purchase a factory unlocked iP4 from Apple. so we have to fork out the extra money to have the same thing.
 
It was just so confusing. If I had a friend at the UK can he buy it for me for $800 and ship it to me so I save $700? Can you confirm it's gonna work 100% in the US with ATT 3G and Tmobile EDGE?

and yes, if you have a friend that can ship you one do it....will he ship one for me too? :D
 
Just wait until Canada gets it next Friday... prices will go down with faster shipping times :p

Just a quick reminder that your "UK" unlocked iPhone 4 will only have a warranty in the UK. So please consider any warranty claims will require you to return the phone to the UK.

Also, you do realize the phone is £800. Not $800. £800 == about $1,250. $250 savings, that is without the taxes. You'll probably save about $200 at the max.
