I'm a bit of a noob in Apple products lol but I JB'd my phone and I want to upgrade to the new iOS 5. The only thing I downloaded was games using the JB.

I've been hearing I should do a full restore before upgrading to a new iOS. If I do a full restore, would I be able to keep my paid apps + Whatsapp(fully paid for) messages and contacts?

Or what would the procedure be?
