iphone 4 upgraded to ios5.0.1 without preserving the base band

Hi,

I am based in India and have an AT & T iphone4 which worked perfectly with a gevey sim, erroneously I upgraded it with no knowledge or preserving the base band and hence the same got upraded too.

After that the phone got locked again, however a friend has brought it to a level that it is like an itouch now.

How can make it work like a iphone again,

I think you're out of luck because the BB has been upgraded and can't be downgraded. Have you looked into an official unlock from AT&T?

Yep, if its been updated to official 5.0.1 your only option now is to contact AT&T and hope they officially unlock your iphone.
Many people did it without having to be an AT&T customer so worth a try.
