iPhone 4 Verizon model on ios5 not working with Bose Sound Dock

Hoping someone can help.

My boss has not been able to charge or play his iPhone 4 on his Bose Sound Dock Series 2 ever since he updated to ios 5. Worked before the update and his wife's phone which is not updated still works. Like I said in the title it is a Verizon iPhone 4.

Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

My verizon iphone 4 still works with my dock. Not sure what his problem is. It is not the ios5 as mine works.
