iphone 4 very lag so badly

My iphone 4 lags very badly, it always froze and I have tried restore to new device without backup, but it is still very laggy.
But the funny thing is if I take out my sim card then everything suddenly runs so smoothly.
I have no idea what the problem is?? Can anyone please help me

Get a new microsim from your network...

Restore as new and see if that helps. I can't see why your SIM would have anything to do with the performance.

I took it to the apple store and the genius said that the phone is good, and I should go to Bell and ask them why is it lagging.
And I already restored my phone about 10 times and it is still the same

Will they give you a new sim?? I dont know I never done that
