iPhone 4 videos very quiet

Hey everyone. So I have been taking videos with my new iPhone 4 but the sound seems to be very quiet or non existent. Am I recording the video wrong or is the sound always this quiet upon playback?

My i4 is noticeably louder than my 3G...and the sound is not nearly as tinny.

i wonder if using the headphone mic would make it audible?

Remember the mic and speaker are switched from where they were on the 3G/3GS. You might be covering up the mic when recording or the speaker when playing it back.

I had the same problem with mine. People also couldn't hear me on FaceTime. It's a defect. I made a reservation at the Genius Bar and they swapped it out without questions.
