Just today I finally transferred all of my music from my iPod to my iPhone so that I no longer have to carry both devices, but the max volume is ridiculously low on my iPhone 4 compared to my second generation iPod. My iPod is probably twice as loud using the same headphones (Sennheiser HD 280 Pro). Any idea why this is happening? Is this normal?

I have sound check turned off and EQ turned off (if I turn on EQ, the volume is even lower).

Thanks very much in advance for your replies!
