I manage a pawnshop, and just picked up a garmin nuvi 660 gps for uber cheap. What im wondering is if its worth it to keep the device for myself If I already have an iphone 4 with axx to any of the gps apps in the app store?
Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks,Yall..

The nuvi stores the maps in the device and doesn't require the 3G connection to download maps. Also there's no monthly fee for the GPS. I prefer stand alone GPS to reduce the reliance on a single device.

hmm, Ive used navigon on the iphone for the last few versions..I THOUGHT the maps were stored locally too..hell I dunno..lol

Huh, I don't use any navigation apps, but I would just assume that if you paid for it the maps would be stored locally.

Isn't that essentially what I said ? Lol.. All I wanna know really is if the gps in the iPhone 4 really holds a candle to the nuvi 660. My phone has bluetooth and can connect to my headunit, so theoretically I don't have a need for a standalone... At least from a feature set standpoint
