iPhone 4 (VZW) - Carrier Update Issue

Verizon iPhone 4 on IOS 5.0.1 and jailbroken with pwnage
iTunes 10.6

When I connect my phone, it tells me a carrier update is available. I click download and install and get the following message:

"iTunes could not update the carrier settings on your iPhone. A duplicate file name was specified."

Any idea on why this could be happening or how to fix it without having to do a restore?

Ok, am I alone with this problem or does no one have an answer or both?

Turns out there is something messed up in my user profile. I logged in as a different user and was able to update without any issues. Just wish I knew what it was.
