I have a 2010 VW with Rcd510 premium 8 radio which allows for Bluetooth audio streaming. I have a new nano connected to my mdi input. The phone works perfectly for calls over the handfree. But what im looking to do is Bluetooth stream for when I need to use my tom-tom for short trips around town. The car comes with an aux jack which is activated but doesnt seem to work when. The mdi is active it's a real pain for me to switch around just to use my tom-tom occasionally.

Did a little Google-ing. I found this:

http://askavwsalesguy.com/2009/10/19/how-to-stream-music-from-iphone-via-bluetooth-to-the-vw-6-disc-changer-rcd-510/

Generally, setting up A2DP streaming with the iPhone is pretty straightforward, but there are a few exceptions depending on head unit.

You may also ask this question in a VW owners' group website.

Hope this helps,
Sean
