Hello...I have a IPhone 4 that has water damage and is not working. The SIM card has been removed from the phone and is working in another phone now. I am planning to sell the phone for parts. My questions are:

1. Is there any data left on the phone since I removed the SIM card and has sustained water damage?
2. Is the phone locked or unlocked?

THANKS!!!

As long as the main memory board isn't fried, it should still be intact and unchanged. However due to damage elsewhere on the phone, it's just not accessible. If you are that worried, take it apart and remove the circuit board. The remaining physical parts can be reused. What did the water damage? Just the screen?
