Hey everyone. I have an Iphone 4. It was submerged in some vomit for about 15 minutes last Saturday. I left it in rice all week and today I took it out and cleaned the charging port with isopropyl alcohol.

I went to turn on my phone, but it keeps sending me into recovery mode. I tried to recover the phone, but it just keeps booting me back into recovery mode. Mind you, my phone is jail broken. Is there any way I can restore my phone? What are my options?

You're may be out of luck if the rice didn't work. When a phone gets submerged, recovery depends on the type of liquid as well as the amount.

Don't know much about vomit other than its highly acidic and could easily have ruined something inside the phone...

You should take it to the nearest Apple Care. That will be better for you.
