Hi, I recently bought an iPhone 4 16GB AT&T off craigslist for $200. The person who had it last thought it had a virus. They were jailbroken at one point. They complained that every once in a while, it would simply reboot. Well, knowing that a virus likely didn't cause it, I went straight for the restore in iTunes. About 1/4 of the way through, the restore froze and weird lines began to appear on the iPhone's screen, eventually leading to the screen being completely blue. This morning, I gave it another shot and successfully was able to restore to iOS 5. Everything on the phone functions so far (WiFi, has an IMEI, screen is responsive and shows content) and there appears to be no water damage when looking at the strips in the headphone jack and dock. During iTunes routine back up is when things started to go down hill. All of a sudden, the screen turned somewhat green with interlaced-looking lines. It's been like this the past few minutes. My guess is something to do with a faulty logic board or something with memory. Don't think it's a baseband issue since I can use WiFi and the IMEI shows up. What do you guys think?
