First post - go easy! Whenever I make calls on the new iPhone 4 I hear a strange 'interference' like noise. Kinda like the noise you get when you go near some non-electromagnetically shielded electronics gear, but occurring all the time. It's not overly loud, but it is annoying on a phone this expensive... I've tried disabling the wifi and bluetooth to no avail.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Yes, my mom has an iPhone 4 and when she's in an area with weak reception there's a rhythmic mechanical sounding interference, almost like the sound of interference from an automotive ignition system on an AM radio.
