Hi!

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5 and have had some issues regarding wifi this past week. I have had my phone setup and connecting to my home wifi for the past 12months but recently it has developed a problem.

Basically when I am at home it would not connect to the wifi. I have reset my router, forgotten the network, reset the network setting and it has not resolved the issue. Only today whilst fiddling i noticed that when i switch off Cellular Data the wifi connects without any problems!

Any ideas as to whats going on?

I have a similar problem. When I use wifi at home, my iPhone 4 will switch to 3G for no apparent reason. It's always happened periodically, but it seems to happen much more frequently with ios5. Also, it doesn't seem to switch back to wifi (at least not for minutes at a time). I use Airport Extreme as my router and all updates are installed.
