I haven't had a problem out of my Iphone 4 iso 5.1 until the new 5.1.1 update came out. I didn't update the firmware yet, however i noticed the wifi cannot see my home wifi unless I'm 10feet in front of my router. I did not change anything on my iphone or home computer setup. I found a similar story in the link below, however that's after they updated to 5.1.1. I'm still in 5.1 and suddenly experienced this drop in wifi strength.

Troubleshooting:
-I turned my Iphone 4 on and off
-Hard reboot
-reset network settings
-Unpluged my home cable modem
-Unplugged my Router
NOthing fixed it.
I have an Ipad2 next to me running 5.1 and it did not experience the same drop in wifi strength. Also, my friends non-iphone can find all the other networks in my building. My iphone 4 can't find any..not even mine broadcasting in the next room over. I didn't drop it or anything. This issue started around the time the 5.1.1 became available earlier this week.

Is it possible some new firmware or the system is better tuned for 5.1.1 ?

Any suggestions on fixing the problem?
Thanks,
MemphisDave
