iPhone 4 with NordicTrack treadmill

Has anyone used their iPhone 4 with the NordicTrack equipment that has an iPod cable on it? I started using Nike+ once I got my iP4 and noticed that the phone will charge, but music is played out the internal speaker, not the speaker set on my treadmill. Wondering if it was a Nike+ issue, I switched over to iPod mode but the same thing happened. Now if I plug in our old iPod classic it works fine. Any thoughts?

Would love to hear if anyone has an answer to this as I have the same problem. I wonder if there is a new cable that could be used with the iphone 4 (as the cable that the nordic track came with will only work with my ipod nano)
