You should be fine running Leopard on there (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X_Leopard), but it's certainly not going to be speedy. However, I'm not actually sure that Apple sells Leopard anymore, and am also unsure that Snow Leopard is supported on G4s. I'd probably call or go to an apple store to check, the most you're looking at spending would be $29 if it's supported.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

Thanks all. Went to apple store and seems that best scenario is to purchase leopard but not snow. Where is the best place to do that?
