iPhone 4 wont charge since iOS6 upgrade

Since I upgraded the software on my phone, I've encountered problems with charging it as a popup box says "that charging is not supported with this accessory". Does anyone else have this problem and if so, do you possibly have any solutions. This is incredibly frustrating as I'm convinced this error lies with Apple's ongoing transition of the iDevices cables. The continual functioning of the iPhone, as I'm sure you all know, is necessary. Any insight is appreciated.

If you're having this problem with an Apple cable/charger then you should take it in to them to have the issue resolved. I'm guessing it's a third party accessory though?

Might be possible that OS is not compatible your iphone 4 ... its my idea. I'm not sure.
