I have installed OpenSSH and have it enabled on my phone. I have tried connecting to the Wifi address on my phone, but it won't connect.

My phone and laptop are on the same wifi network..

I used root and alpine as the user name and password.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm running 4.1 on my phone.

I have had the same problem since jailbreaking my iphone 4 on 4.1 (via limarian). For some reason, SSH never worked via SFTP on Cyberduck or even from Terminal. However, I got Bonjour to work fine and works primarily the same way (via wifi, same passwords as SSH). If your on a PC may not be so helpful, then you can just use one of the software interfaces that will connect to your phone root via USB.
