I have had my iPhone 4 since 6/23, this is a new problem. In the past week or so whenever I try to search MR it won't let me. I hit search, the text bar opens, and as soon as a hit the keyboard the search bar disappears. And then if I hit search again it won't even drop down the box. Anyone have a similar experience or a suggestion how to fix it?

Problem one: You're using the built in search, it is not very good.
Problem two: You should be using MRoogle.

i noticed this as well and if you zoom out on the page, the search box should be floating out in the middle of nowhere. once you find it, you can tape the text field and search away.

I am a dummy. I didn't realize MRoogle was a separate site. I thought it was the built in search, so thanks for forcing me to realize my stupidity.

So is this "bug" in MR's search function and not in my phone?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. And MacDawg, love your signature, Byron (and She Walks In Beauty) are among my favorites.

I've noticed this issue ever since the 2.0 days. I'm surprised after all the updates over the last 2 years, not of them fixed this issue. I believe it is a safari issue, not macrumors.
