How long do you think we will have to wait for iPhone 4G jailbreak or sim unlock?
Do you think that the fact that 4G will most probably run on A4 will mean that methods for jailbreaking iPad and 4G will be simmilar? Anyone can enlighten me how long did we have to wait for 3GS jailbreak/unlock?

The sim unlock will definitely come that week and the jailbreak will come sometime that week or the next one. The sim unlock is guaranteed by sherif_hashim on his twitter, and the jailbreak time is speculation but probably true.

well a little correction first. The jailbreak would have to come first then the unlock. By there is promise Kaatje has already jailbroken iPhone OS 4 beta 4 on her 3GS. We can only guess as to when the jb and unlock would come as of right now. Because beta 4 will still be far off from what the real OS 4 has.

1+ 3GS is proven to be more difficult then previous generations of iPhones. We can presume that it will be as tough if not tougher then the 3GS. mobody really knows anything till the phones get in the hands of the jailbreak devs proof is in the pudding!

The problem is its not about OS version but about iPhone hardware.
