iPhone 4g (un) Official Commercial

It's too long to be an actual commercial, but it's still nicely done. Very Apple-like song choice too.
 
That whole clip reeks of "viral marketing" - I mean, I know there are Apple fanboy nuts out there - but that looks like an exceedingly high level of effort for a spontaneous spat of creativity by average Joe.

Could be the Whisky talking right now, too - so take what I said with a good shot of drink.
 
The REAL ad will mock the ipad ad and the "FaceTime" video. Having it all done in the REAL WORLD. Focusing not only on the apps but the features.

Few predictions:

  • Video chat with "the grandkids". Grandma holding the device
  • Solder over seas. Seeing his kid walk for the first time.
  • Business man in New york city getting a taxi. Hes in the taxi working on his calander app and then switches to a 3rd party app.
  • Car ride. Kids watching "Up" in the back seat
  • Ride though the park. Boyfriend/girlfriend having a picnic. Taking a HD video and uploading it to you tube
  • Airplane ride.
So some of these do mock the "FaceTime video, but as you can see its all "real world" situations. Less focus on apps and more on the device it self.
 
Yeah, they're definitely gonna sell the video calling and front-facing camera etc. I think Netflix might feature too.
