I am counting down to the days until the 4G comes out. Question though, I remember I was one of the first ones to line up for a 3G at a Rogers dealer. For the 4G, will they be sold at other retailers (i.e. Future Shop, Best Buy)? I'm hoping it will be available at more places so I don't have to take time off like last time to line up. :)

Context: Canada please.

How would anyone possibly know what outlets Apple will allow to sell the iPhone in Canada until it is announced? The new iPhone hasn't even been announced for the US yet!

Probably the same places as last year.
Apple stores and official wireless carrier stores.

Did they sell them at BestBuy last year? I only started using an iPhone a month ago, so I never paid attention, other than watching TV and seeing all the people standing in long lines at the AT&T corporate stores.

Best Buy did carry the iPhone 3GS last year and they still do. I don't believe they carried them on initial launch. They received them a little bit after.

False, I picked up my Iphone 3GS on launch day at a Best Buy. I did it because where I work, there's a nearby local AT&T store, and by the time I got there (10 minutes after it opened) there was already a line for the 3GS, and they had no more on hand in a 16 GB. (I didn't want/have the money for a 32 GB).

So I drove another 5 minutes to Best Buy and picked it up there, where there was also a line.
