No. Not at all. Those people will know nothing about an iPhone launch.

Vodafone will be carrying the iPhone as part of their regular lineup in early 2010. Maybe that's what they told him and he either misunderstood them or they misunderstood themselves.

Yes I agree he has probably misunderstood them but why lie about 4G when they wont be able to deliver it?

iPhone 2G: June 29, 2007
iPhone 3G: July 11, 2008
iPhone 3GS: June 19, 2009

Apple will come out with a new iPhone of some sort between June and August of 2010. Don't plan on it being released any time before that.

This thread is right on par with the typical "new Apple *whatever" being released early next year?!?" rumors that start popping up right around this time every year.
