Does anybody remember what's happened in the past to the prices of the higher-capacity previous-model iPhones when new models were introduced? I know Apple has already removed them from their site but I imagine carriers and other retailers will still be trying to sell off stock for the next few weeks. Can we expect to see some discounts?

I'll be interested to hear this as well. I'm looking for factory unlocked 4S 64gb. The apple store in newark DE still has the current price. I'll check again on 9/18

I checked with my local Apple Store on this today (because I want to buy a 4S and would prefer a larger capacity) and they told me $199/299 for the 32/64 GB versions, respectively. If that's the cheapest option I'll probably just end up paying $99 for the 16 GB.
