Hi, I just wanna ask your opinions for this 3rd company warranty

I was thinking to buy an unlocked iphone 4s then put in my t-mobile.
First, I lost my phone once, and it was a very bad experience. So, now, I'm going to get LT (Loss & Theft) insurance which applecare+ doesn't cover. That's what make me think to make a contract with at&t+insurance with my friend's family plan, 200min/person, 2gb internet, insurance about 60-70/month or get an off-contract iphone 4s+3rd company warranty (for LT only) and applecare+
Do you guys think it worths?
Second, in case I use t-mobile with an off-contract iphone with edge connection, will it has enough speed to cover siri's daily usage such as remind me, set an alarm, where am i (simple gps), weather, currency, and texting?
Third, does siri works with Bose MIE2 earphones? (microphone button can launch siri apps and interact with siri using earphones+microphone buttons only)
