iPhone 4S/5 Purple Light In Photos

I took pictures with my 4S before and noticed this as well. Always thought it was just the way it worked. Anyone else noticed this? Thoughts?

It's not really a thread. It's a wayward post that belongs in one of the already existing threads. It wasn't insightful or unique. Is there a reason it should stand on it's own vs you replying with a "duh, me too!" in one of the existing threads?
