Looking to get a new 5c or 5s? I put together some research on the best places to trade in an old device. Thought it would be helpful to compare some of the popular places to trade in an iPhone 4S/5. Based off a 16gb/AT&T model in Good condition with accessories and no water damage / no screen cracks:

iPhone 5 Trade in Values:
Amazon: $363
Apple: $325
Best Buy: $330
Gazelle: $300
Usell: $305
Walmart: $315

iPhone 4S Trade in Values:
Amazon: $242
Apple: $215
Best Buy: $220
Gazelle: $180
Usell: $210
Walmart: $205
 
iPhone 5 Sprint Black 16gb. Based on my phone condition which is Very Good.

2. Target $235
3. Best Buy $295 (it also said something about an additional $50GC) =$345?

I locked in my offer with BuyBackWorld. It was higher when I did it earlier this week but they still seem to pay the highest (cash amount anyway)
4S 16GB AT&T Excellent $217
5 16GB AT&T Excellent $355

Gazelle's prices are much lower than their competitors.
