Hello,

I recently purchased an iPhone 5s and plan selling my iPhone 4s. The 4s is still covered under my AppleCare + Warranty, it now has a cracked screen from dropping. So I have two quesitons...

1) Will they replace/fix my 4s? Or is that not considered accidental damage? (for the $50 charge of course)

2)Will they replace/fix the phone even if its not activated since I'm using my 5s and plan on selling that phone or giving it to a family member?

1) Yes, that's what Applecare is there for.

2) Yes, doesn't matter if you have a new phone or not as the Applecare still covers the phone you bought it for.
