Now that I can finally get an iPhone with 64 GB, hopefully Apple did not take away the 128 kbps on-the-fly conversion option in iTunes 10.5.

Can anyone with the iTunes 10.5 beta confirm that this option still exists?

I'm running 10.5 beta 9 and the option "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC" is still available under the sync options for my iPhone 4

Great! Thank you for the response. :)

Not in the final release, 10.5

I'm running the release version of iTunes 10.5 (141) and did not see the 128 conversion option at first. It is now under the Summary tab. I think it used to be under the Music tab.
