iPhone 4S and Pioneer Bluetooth not connecting

I have a iPhone 4S and a a pioneer CD-BTB200 bluetooth adapter. My old iPhone 4 would connect automatically every time. However since I upgraded to the 4S, I have to manually connect and enter the pin every time. I thought it was the phone, so I had it replaced and it still doesn't work. I'm convinced it's an issue with the pioneer bluetooth not being compatible. Anyone else run into this or know if there will be some sort of update?
