Can anyone here confirm if the AT&T off-contract iPhone 4S' are in-fact factory unlocked? I will be traveling international soon and need to get one before the expected official release date of the factory unlocked iPhone 4S from Apple.

Short answer is maybe but only if you purchase an AT&T SKU at an Apple retail store as a "Device Only".
