Does anyone else have some visible backlight bleeding at the top of your display? It is clearly visible the phone is tilted or when the top of the screen is displaying a whitish color. Do you think I should try to exchange my device? Is it worth the risk of getting a device with a worse defect?

Thanks guys

EDIT: Here is a picture (Sorry for the low quality):

Same issue here. It's as if there are mini spot lights on the top status bar when the phone is held vertically.

On a side note, ambient light sensor seems to be not working either...

Interesting. Mine has those little spot lights, but my ambient light sensor is working fine.

I'll wait a few weeks before I go in for a replacement. Hopefully, next batch of phones by then should be of better quality.

My iPhone 4 didn't have this; I now have the 4S, 32GB, white, and it's pretty clear that there is backlight bleed from the top. I purchased the phone sometime around the 18th of October. It doesn't bother me enough to warrant a visit to the Apple Store, though.

No backlight bleed here also, but I have one spec of dust about three-four mm above home button and two very thin micro scratchea on the diaplay itself under the glass. Still wondering if I should go and get a replacement... Very risky to get a refurb with other more serious problems.

A questions for people with no backlight bleed:

Is your iPhone black or white? It seems like the people with backlight bleed have white iPhones...
