Hi,

Re: Iphone 4S. iOS 6.1.3

Few issues:

Battery is draining fast (7 hours on standby)

I am receiving emails on yahoo account but not on work (exchange)

I cant send emails from any account

So I backed up my iPhone and then reset (erase all contents and setting). Once restarted, it worked fine ie battery was ok and I was able to send/receive emails.

Later I connected to my iTunes and restored the backed up data.

Now I am facing the same problems again (battery draining and no emails).

So now I know there is nothing wrong with the phone in regards to hardware but may be some settings or applications are causing this problem.

Any advise please?

Thank you in advance

Check your outbox, and delete all messages there. If u can't delete them, turn on airplane mode first.
Your battery drains because your iPhone constantly tries to send all emails in the outbox.
Good luck, and please keep us posted.

I would suggest restore from i tunes and then restore from backup,if that doesn`t help then try restore as new.Because erasing content doesn`t really reinstall your iOS,all it does is deleting the data on the device. But before that try restarting your phone,it may help.

He said that he rebooted, and restored. It probably is the outbox

Yes you were right about the restart, but he restored the backup he didn't restore the iOS .he said that he erased all content, which is not the same thing, anyway try to restore as new.
