iPhone 4s battery drainage problem

Recently I've been having problems with my 4s and it's battery draining really fast. I did some research and read a few different things but I'm not exactly sure what could be causing this.

My phone IS jailbroken but has been for months, and this just started happening maybe 2 weeks ago. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

iPhone 4s battery drainage

I have the iPhone 4s and have noticed the battery seems to be draining a lot quicker (pretty noticeable) since updating to iOS 6. I have turned off some of the notifications to see if that helps at all (which actually defeats the purpose of the iOS) and have not noticed any change as of yet. I believe it has something more to deal with the update as a whole. I hope Apple comes out with another update correcting this issue if that is the case. I have seen many others post on the Apple Support page with the same problem. Does anyone else experience the same issue or have any other ideas? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nope I havent downloaded or applied anything new in weeks.

FYI to everyone I'm still on 5.1.1
