I went to bed last night and plugged in my iPhone 4s around 20% wake up, and find my iPhone showing the charged battery icon, but the percentage is jumping everywhere. I saw it go from 92-88% jump up to 91 then back to 92% before I unplugged it because I was freaking out. Is their something wrong with my battery?

It's probably a software calibration issue. Drain the battery completely. Then charge it for a few hours. It should help.

don't let your li-ion battery drain all the way. you are supposed to do that with nimh and nicd batteries. Li-ion batteries prefer a shallow discharge..so charge when at 25%-30%. :D

Apple reccomends discharging until the device turns off and recharging to calibrate the battery indicator. Don't listen to the person who said never let it go below x amount.
