iPhone 4S Battery worse then iPhone 4?

I was just checking the tech specs for the iPhone 4S vs the iPhone 4 and noticed that the battery for the 4S is worse then for the 4. Does anyone know why this would be? I plan to get the 4S either way, I was just wondering.
