Today marks the iPhone 4's 2nd birthday ! Making it also the final day of contract for a lot of us who bought the phone on launch day
!
You can still get about $450 for a 32 GB iPhone 4. That'd be enough to get a 32 GB iPhone 4S for $299 on contract. You'd still 'earn' $150.Wow you guys should have sold that phone long ago if you wanted any value out of it.

Perhaps the value of the iPhone is not always measured in the resale value. There might be other criteria for measuring "value".![]()
I totally agree. They hold their value anyway just goto the store and see how much the iPhone 3GS 8GB is selling for £319 !!!
Not worth it imho
Yeah, I suppose lots of people will now get an Android or Windows Phone smartphone (because people tend to get a new phone when their contract is up - and I don't think many will go for an iPhone 4S if they already own an iPhone 4).

iPhone 4 32GB sell for around $300-350 on Craigslist.
iPhone 4s 32gb sell for $400-450 on Craigslist.
Depends on your market. eBay prices you have to factor in 7-8% fees plus PayPal plus shipping plus the risks involved you arent sending it to some scam buyer.

Not a chance in hell of that. $300-$325 is what you'll get for it right now. $250-$275 for a 16gb.

You can't even get $450 for a mint 16gb 4S right now. You'll get about $400 for that. Some are even going for $375.
I was thinking from an European standpoint. 350 (almost $450) for an iPhone 4 32 GB is certainly possible. Perhaps even 400 (about $500) is possible. 7-8% fees? I have never heard of that (but that might be because eBay isn't that big at all in Europe).
My point is: I am sure one can sell a 16 GB iPhone 4 for $200 and a 32 GB for $300. Enough to buy a brand new iPhone on contract without making any real loss.
I suppose the European secondhand market is very different. 240 ($300) or 280 ($350) are prices literally no one would sell an iPhone 4 32 GB for (over here).
