Is it just me or is the usb cable that comes with the 4S longer than the one that came with the 4?

iPhone 4S cable longer?

It's the same length as the other one I have here... which I think is the one that came with my 4 (but I also had a 3GS and I have an iPad so cables may have gotten mixed up).
In my household we have an:
- iPhone 3G
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4 x 2
- iPad 2
- iPod touch x 3
- iPod nano x 4
- iPod Classic x2
So we have an entire collection of White USB cables (14 total), and none of them are the same size (in comparison to each other), but the difference can be measured in centimeters (so nothing dramatic).
Sometimes I think Apple gets some sick type of thrill over charging such an obscene price for a few inches of cable.
It's the only smart phone I've ever owned that comes from a company so successful, yet so greedy. Not only do they overcharge for the cable, they offer nothing longer.
That's another sick thrill, screwing the customer via a lack of options.

Yup, it's too bad they won't let others manufacture cheaper or longer or more durable cables...

I have 2 of these extension cables and they work perfectly. I bought one originally for my iPhone and then I bought a 2nd one when I got my iPad. hasn't failed yet.
But yes...an extra 6 inches of cable wouldn't kill Apple. lol.
