Hi all, I just got my new iPhone 4S yesterday, and while playing around with the camera, I discovered a little semi-transparent grayish-black circle on my all my pictures and on the Camera app itself.

Here's a picture of it while the Camera app is on:
(the circle is in the bottom right corner, a little bit above the capture button)

Now, the strange thing is, the circle disappears when I switch to video recording mode. Here's a pic:

Could this actually be a software problem instead of a camera lens issue? Anyone has this problem too? Would love to bring it down to a Genius bar but there are no Genius bars where I live (Singapore). :(

It is only visible on lighter/white areas of the picture, but it would make me happier to not have to worry about the speck in my photos.

Hmm I've been trying but really can't see it in video mode. It's still there in the photo mode though.

Any ideas? :(
