Hello,

I'm looking for a way to either take photos on my iphone 4s in 640x480 or to download them to my computer in that size. I understand I can get this size by emailing the photos, but not sure how to do it via a sync.

Thanks,

You can't through the phone. You'd have to sync to and then resize on your computer.

there is an app in the appstore called simple resize. you can resize the photos with that simple app. but you have to do it manually which is a pain in the arse technica.

Get the photobucket app, load your photos on. Then go to the photobucket site through safari, click the picture and lick resize. You can do it right there. That's how I've been doing it.

Oh.., you don't need flash to simply click the resize option, a list of sizes drop down under it and you just click whichever you want.

There is probably a camera app that will let you set that as the resolution before you take the photos. That's probably easiest.

Camera+ has a 1200x1200 setting, but that's as low as it goes. It's probably worth searching the app store to see if there are any others that let you manually set the size you want.

The Camera+ app has a burst mode that takes photos in 640 x 480 resolution. I believe this is an option that has to be set each time you start the app. It's quite useful.
