iphone 4S dead?

mine just arrived and i turned it on only to see the plug in for charge notification. did everyone else's come this way? i thought i remembered all my other iPhones having like a half charge? so i guess once i charge it all the way, the battery will be calibrated?

Yeah that is a little odd. Mine came almost fully charged.

Could have been turned on in the box, this happened with my iPad 2. It was on when I opened it.
