I got my white 4S on Saturday, my brother noticed a good sized piece of dirt/dust on the lens...inside the phone. I cannot see it in photos or video...its near the edge of the lens...but its clearly there.

Would I be able to get this replaced at the apple store under warranty?

I got my iPhone 4S replaced last night for a defect with the camera as well. They actually said it was the video card that was causing the problem.

Sample Photos on my G+

New iPhone 4S vs. Defective iPhone 4S

Looks like a defective CMOS, unless by "Video card" they mean on your machine... How did they come to that conclusion? Does the image look normal on the phone but screwed up on only one computer after import?

Yes. Assuming that it's crap inside the lens and not caked hard on the surface (which they'd probably fix with some cleaner or something)

I took some pictures as best I could with my dad's 4S.

yeah, they'll absolutely give you a new phone. I got a new phone a while back because I had some flecks of dust between the glass and the screen.

I knew what this issue was, it's the image sensor being defective. The genius kept saying it was the video card. Image looked exactly as it was posted on my defective iPhone 4S.

White balance was also a bit off. So happy for my replacement.
