iPhone 4s dies at 20% battery

I'm on my 3rd 4s of the year.

The first one had an error which meant that the music kept on randomly pausing.

The second had a hardware issue.

Now my third one (which I've had for about a week) will die on 18-25% battery life every single time.

Any reason why this could be happening or do I have yet another faulty iPhone 4s?

sounds silly but have you done a hard reboot? Do you reboot your phone often? Once it drains all the way down and shuts off, have you charged it all the way (still off) without using it?

Just trying to rule out a calibration issue first... if none of the above fix the issue, I'd take it back for a 4th one... ugh.

I don't even think calibration could be the issue if it's not even making it past 20%. I'd go back to the Apple Store. You're just getting some tough luck. My 4S has been perfect since launch day, but I remember going through like 4 iPhone 3Gs (all free replacements by Apple of course)

If it does it every single time you get it below 20%, it's likely a faulty in the battery. Take it back to the Genius bar and ask for a replacement.

Yeah I've tried a hard reboot and doesn't do anything.

Looks like yet another trip to the Glasgow Buchanan Street store to hang about for ages to be told that they can't fix it and they need to give me another one. Every single time they go through the same process of attempting to fix it for ages then come to tell me I need a knew one.

I was hoping to avoid this! Thanks, though.
